Kas Gossens
I’m an Advanced Practice Social Worker with six years of behavioral health experience across multiple settings. While I’m new to private practice, I’m not new to walking alongside others on their paths to healing and growth. Therapy should feel both grounding and collaborative, an intentional space where you can be honest, curious, and supported.
Clinically, I draw from evidence-based modalities like ACT, DBT, and trauma-informed care, but what matters most is building a relationship where you feel seen and supported. I work well with adults who tend to hold a lot for others, and are now learning how to show up for themselves with the same level of care. I also support youth who are at meaningful crossroads in life and struggling to clarify their values and goals, especially in an increasingly complex and noisy world.
Outside the therapy room, I find steadiness in the natural world. I’m an avid hiker, happiest under a big sky or on a quiet trail. I live with a very expressive bullmastiff who reminds me daily that rest, play, and presence matter. My clients often tell me that our sessions feel both spacious and steady—which I think is the gift of doing this work while deeply connected to a full, grounded life.
I’m so excited to have joined a practice that honors those same values and allows me the space to show up fully—for myself and for the people I work with.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
